Friday 28th August:

ENERGY - The PoisonUK Carnival Concert

This concert is the pinnacle of Soca music scene here in Europe and definitely the one to be at. For the first time we will be featuring a cross-section from across the Soca Caribbean as never seen before together here in London. The show features Peter Ram and Lil Rick from Barbados, Berbice from Grenada, Ricky T from St Lucia and Benjai as well as the Soca Royal Family Bunji and Fayann from Trinidad & Tobago. Look out for more performers from other Islands added to the bill as the time draws nearer. Early-bird tickets for this massive event are now on-sale and we suspect that they will go faster than they did last year.

A Changing of the Guard
This years' show sees a changing of the guard from the high energy of Machel Montano to the excellence of the Soca Royal Family. TRUE SOCA ROYALTY

Whether you're a fan of them individually or you love their collaborations, the Lyrical King Bunji Garlin and the Lyon Empress Fay Ann Lyons-Alvarez have fused together two powerhouses of raw talent in the Soca Industry.

Fay Ann Lyons- Alvarez is truly royalty. The daughter of Road March and Multi-Soca Monarch and Roadmarch King Super Blue, and wife of the chanter Bunji Garlin, she made herself rise to the top solely on her own strength and merits.

You all know the story right?
Fay Ann Lyons entered the height of Trinidad's 2K9 carnival season eight months pregnant. She ripped up every fete, with her big belly, then went on to win all the competitive Soca categories in carnival. Her sweet sweet husband, Bunji Garlin did his thing too!! He came second place with Iwer George running for 3rd at the International Soca Monarch for spite. LOL. Then, just a couple days after the season done, baby Syri came along, one month early on February 28, 2009. This soca couple had a fantastic start to the year and are currently at the top of their game.

Well...that was the recap...and here's now!!
Trinidad's hottest celebrity couple has risen out of their performance hiatus and are now on tour across North America, the Caribbean and Europe, with shows lined up for Sweden, Germany then finishing with neXt Level PoisonUK here in London.

The Rest of the Line Up
This will be the first time that the first family of Soca will be performing together on a ‘neXt level PUK’ stage, alongside Benji and the Asylum crew. The show tops off with Grenada’s Berbice, St Lucia’s Ricky T and Bajan powerhouses Peter Ram and Lil Rick. Collectively this group of soca superstars has more than 30 hits currently on the charts. Bwoy..., What a great line up!

This years neXt Level PUK season, like others before, will be just as energising, exciting and entertaining. Bringing the energy of soca to ‘RED’ !!

The Venue
This year the concert will be held at the Troxy on Commercial Road. The venue is one of the best equiped and decorated venues in London.

What's it Gonna Be Like?
The evening plans to be one of high energy with live performances literally from the start of the evening right through to 1am. Then right on the spot we will literally transform the place into the After Party of the year. So, that means that your concert ticket will automatically include the after party. During the After Party we will be carrying mainly Soca related styles in the main hall as well as RnB, Hip Hop, Reggae and other genres in the Alternative Room.

As it will be a long evening, we intend to make it worth your while with Caribbean dishes and delights on sale, as well as merchandise an other attractions.

Deals to Get you there...
You can get half price tickets to the concert simply by purchasing a neXt Level PoisonUK Carnival Costume package. What a deal!.

The event also gives our PUK Card Holders 25 points towards the Dubai Challenge. Now where in the Caribbean Entertainment scene can you party and win stuff like this??

How to Get Tickets
This year we have introduced electronic ticketing which takes most of the hassle out of ticket purchasing. You can now book your tickets online here and they are then automatically sent to your email in-box. You can then print them out at your leisure and walk with them to the concert. This means that whether you are in Stockholm, New York, Amsterdam or just off the beach in St Vincent or Dominica you can get your ticket for the concert.

If you still want to do it the old fashioned way then you can check here for a list of outlets selling tickets.
